Shadowcrest (Open to Shadowpact)

Percy often found himself using the permission he was given to explore Shadowcrest's library whenever he needed to mull over some things. The magical world had recently experienced the death of Morgan Le Fey. It was shocking, to say the least. And before that, the Titans of Myth had risen. A cult of Cthulu had even become active once again. His nerves were so easy to get acting up, but reading through magical texts always calmed him down. So to ease his mind, he started reading through the books in the library at Shadowcrest.

Zach was still around the manor; in truth, he'd hardly left since his talk with Sindella the other day. She'd managed to ply him away from the restricted section, and he'd just been trying to get through the days since then. He was honestly just looking for some light reading when he staggered back into the library, wearing the same tux for the third day in a row.

"Oh... hello Miss Roth, Percy."

Mike had not been sleeping well of late his dream always turned into the same thing probably some sort of vision about the future but what wasn’t really making much sense to him not that they ever really did till after the fact.

There were dreams about death he though not as they usually appeared to him, typically in his dreams death was personified as a rather hot Goth chick which he had only learned back with that whole thing with Hades was a personification of death.

This was something else inky black darkness threatening to consume of light and life and each time he had the dream it got closer.

His dad was out of town dealing with the aftermath of Morgan Le Fey’s death and was smiling a rather lot. It was kind of creeping him out not to see him with his usual brooding look that he had had for centuries apparently at least if the portraits didn’t lie.

After talking to his mom about it for a bit and looking through some of his dad’s library in Gotham he decided a change of location might help. Either to find out what he might be dreaming about or better yet a way to sleep through the night and not have the damn dream.

He gave Sindella a call to see if it would be ok to look through the library at Shadowcrest before droving over there on a motorcycle.

He had to admit to being a bit surprised as to see the little study group in the library when he walked inside.

“Yes my nightmare are clues of something more because I’m mystical not because of the precog thing I have going on,” Mike says sarcastically and a little sharper than he intended to due to the sleep deprivation.

“The dreams always start out nice enough but always seem to make a sudden and drastic change,” Mike says, “It’s what usually happens when I get these types of things. I’m not entirely sure what the dream was about they usually tend to be rather abstract in nature and never really making a bit of sense till well after knowing what it means could have helped. An inky black darkness moving to consume all light getting closer each time I have the dream. I’m not sure but I think the darkness might have to do with death though this is death unlike how I have ever known it. But all I do know for sure is that it gives me a really bad feeling and won’t let me get a restful night of sleep.”
