Cait was extremely proud of Ty. He had worked long and hard to get where he was and he deserved the recognition that came with it. She smiled at him as he passed. This night was entirely for him and she wouldn't have missed it for the world.
She looked across the table at her father and smiled at him. Dad had been so supportive of Ty and of Ty and Cait. Cait knew how overprotective fathers could be, but her father had been supportive of her and Ty's relationship from the start.
It was a perfect night and nothing could ruin it.
