Jon heads for San Francisco when he hears about the change. He'd prefer to continue helping in Metropolis, but he'll do his job, and go where things are the worst. He uses telescopic vision and x-ray well ahead of his arrival, trying to find the worst of it so he can head right into the midst of the worst.
