Dinadan rolls to his feet and presses his advantage, determined to see this piece of business done. He does not want this thing to hurt anyone else, or to be able to sneak up on them later. Perhaps he ought to give it a chance to surrender, but could he even trust it if it did?
He's killed animals before. The Amazon rain forest is full of things that wouldn't mind making a meal out of something less than six inches tall. It's not something he particularly enjoys doing, but he doesn't loose any sleep over it either. He's as much Katarthan as he is human, and the Katarthans are a warrior people and he is their prince.
Dinadan doesn't waste his breath promising the spawn he's intent on that he'll make it quick. He just pours that energy directly into making it quick.
