"Damnit Damien, you don't think I don't stand there and blame myself every damn day?! It was my own damn fault that I went looking for my mother in the first place and was dumb enough to let my fucking feelings get in the way. I risked the lives of my entire damn team...I lied to them. I lied to my family.
And for what? So I could watch my best friend get his brains blown in front of me and get knocked up?!

There was a long pause before she spoke again.

Another pause.
