Had you told Ty a few weeks ago, before all of this started, he might believe a lot of things. None of them would be that he'd find himself with two girls clinging to him desperately. Which is the situation he currently finds himself in, floating over the ruined, lifeless San Francisco Bay, clutching Cait in one arm, a magess with her arms around him as well, while the city stands at the edge of ruin in the distance.
As the temple disappears from the world, most of the Earth, mercifully, is allowed to forget, remembering all of the past days as a bad nightmare, and one they mostly can't even recall. Others will remember it as vivid dreams, bits and pieces clear in their mind, but most of the actual events gone. Others, more tragically, will never forget, minds gone to madness trying to comprehend the incomprehensible. Sadly, many of these will be from this very city, those who looked upon Great Cthulhu in his moments so close to awakening. But for the moment, the disaster is over.
