Dinadan shrinks and dodges, but not quite fast enough. Instead of burying itself in his chest, Jai's hand clips a stunning blow along the side of the other boy's head, spinning him around so that he falls face first on the ground. Prone and dazed, Dinadan never the less lashes out, kicking at Jai's knees and ankles in an attempt to get some breathing room.
