The hornets gouge rents in Ivo's shell, but do not seem to greatly harm Ty himself, before he lifts a hand, and the air turns black with crossbow bolts, lashing at everything in the sky that isn't him, hornets, dragons, Steve's body, trying to manifest an attack that can't be simply blocked, coming from all directions.
"Sorry to disappoint you. I like it here."
