Will, through the Wisdom, knew way too many things could go wrong right now. he'd have to cover the retreat somehow. But he wouldn't be very useful. There's Zan, Power Woman, and the dead Hawk people with their maces that zap magic.
Will had an idea to fix the number problem, though.
