"Eli. Eli, you lazy ass, wake up."
Blearily, Eli cracked open an eye and lifted the wing over his face to see who was talking to him. Kyle Rayner stood over his bed, looking at him with that faintly disappointed look on his face he had sometimes while talking to Eli. It wasn't the Kyle of this time, but of his time, looking faintly see through and sort of green.
"Rayner?" he croaked. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm not here. You're hallucinating."
"Oh." His head dropped back, and the wing recovered his face. "Great."
"Get up. You've got stuff to do. You're back here for a reason, remember?"
"Yes. I remember." Why was he talking out loud to a self admitted hallucination? A hallucination that leaned over and flicked him in the forehead.
"Then do it Obi-Wan. You are our only hope."
The Not-Rayner flicked him again, as a blue ring smacked him in the forehead.
