Petra had just barely escaped from her mother. She hadn't been attacked, a black ring had just... FOUND her, and turned her into that nightmare. She'd been able to hold off the undead by freezing them, but her mother just swam through it. Only the fact that she was faster in the air had gotten her away.
Her phone rings, and she picks it up in a hurry after seeing the caller ID.
"Din? Sweetie, are you okay? The world's going nuts!"
