Cait shook her head. "I'm not going. I'm not going back there. Mother sent me a copy of the Atlantis Chronicles. I've never been allowed to read them until now, but her message was clear. She wants me to stay away from Atlantis. By reading the histories of my family I could see how the throne and the city poisons a person. It poisoned my ancestors and look what it has done to my father...mother doesn't want that for me. My family history could make a Shakespearean tragedy seem like a comedy and my mother wanted me to see that."
She smiled.
"I'm not going back. I'm going to be the first in a long line of insanity to break away from it and lead my own life. I'm happy here with you and the Titans. I don't want anything else."
