The lightning bolt hit the ground a half of step in front of Arthur, but it was still close enough to affect the Atlantean king.

The heat was intense and electricity coursed through Athur's body. He was still for a moment and then crumbled to the ground. Spasms wrecked his body and the king of Atlantis wasn't going to do anything or go anywhere right now.
