The Seas of Chaos
Koryak stood near the new shoreline of Atlantis and looked out across the water. He was tired, they all were, but the rebuilding of Atlantis was coming along at a pace no one had expected. The Atlanteans were a resourceful people and rebuilding their homes and city wasn't just rebuilding the physical, it was rebuilding their sense of identity.

Koryak had watched his father and Queen Mera work as hard as every other citizen when it came to doing things, if not harder. Koryak was right there beside them working to do as much as he could. There were a few missing faces, most notably Cait and Cerdian's. Koryak didn't blame them. He thought it was unfair that Arthur was trying to force them to marry. He was proud his sister stood up to their father and she left to do her own thing.

Koryak turned back toward the city.

The water behind him erupted into spray and figures emerged and came up on the island.

Koryak turned to face the invaders. "Raise the alarm!" he yelled before he was attacked.

Time and time again these damn Atlanteans somehow managed to scrape by. When the Titans came and destroyed most of the city, they managed to survive. When unhitched form the seafloor and brought to the surface they managed to survive. When Death itself came to claim the city, they managed to survive.

No more.

With the air around him crackling with magical energy, Devil Ray comes down hard on the initial defenses of Atlantis.

	A short distance from where Moray emerged, another form rose out of the ocean. This one at first looked human, but with keratin scales and a extra pair of arms ending in crablike pincers. 	Traya might not have quite been Jon or sigh Jai, but when push came to shove, she was one of the fastest fliers around. It hadn't taken her long to get to Atlantis at all. 	"Men! get back," Ash ordered trying to put power into her voice. Then she turned calling up a bolt of vivid blue-green magical power into one hand as she began to chant the sent it flying. 	Cerdian appears before Lyta, summoning tendrils of water to strike out against the demons that Lyta was summoning. He will hold them off as long as needed for Atlantean troops to bolster his attacks. Meanwhile, he begins chanting a counter-spell to keep Lyta from summoning further minions. There is a massive explosion as Zeus' full power impacts the Kryptonian, sending him crashing into the ground - then, at the speed he was moving, and unable to stop, crashing full force into the walls of the palace.
