The Seas of Chaos
Koryak stood near the new shoreline of Atlantis and looked out across the water. He was tired, they all were, but the rebuilding of Atlantis was coming along at a pace no one had expected. The Atlanteans were a resourceful people and rebuilding their homes and city wasn't just rebuilding the physical, it was rebuilding their sense of identity.

Koryak had watched his father and Queen Mera work as hard as every other citizen when it came to doing things, if not harder. Koryak was right there beside them working to do as much as he could. There were a few missing faces, most notably Cait and Cerdian's. Koryak didn't blame them. He thought it was unfair that Arthur was trying to force them to marry. He was proud his sister stood up to their father and she left to do her own thing.

Koryak turned back toward the city.

The water behind him erupted into spray and figures emerged and came up on the island.

Koryak turned to face the invaders. "Raise the alarm!" he yelled before he was attacked.

	Jon takes the shot directly, and full in the back. There is a massive explosion as Zeus' full power impacts the Kryptonian, sending him crashing into the ground - then, at the speed he was moving, and unable to stop, crashing full force into the walls of the palace. In shock, he tries to push back to his feet, trying to catch his breath. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Insufficient. His quarry wounded, but struggling, Damien lashes out with another thunderbolt, impacting the wounded Kryptonian. A third follows, for good measure. Unwilling to risk further discovery, he stops at that point, moving towards Lyta. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The second shot sends Jon through a wall entirely and out the other side, laying him out flat. The third, an even easier attack than the first, launches him into the water, where he floats, face down, very still. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Cait had just taken care of Tidal with Alina's help and saw Superboy go flying through the air and landing in the water. She pulled the water up and floated him over to a spot not far from her. "Healers!" she yelled as she checked for a pulse. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Healers!" Cait yelled again and was a little relived when she saw two of the Atlanteans healers coming toward her. They reached Jon and immediately started working on him. Salves and bandages were applied and they even tried a little magic. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Hang in there Superboy," Cait said. She looked at the healers. "Take him inside the royal palace and see to him. An escort of soldiers will go with you."

"Of course Princess."

Cait grabbed four of the royal guard and had them carry Superboy inside.

She looked around at the scene. It was chaotic to say the least, but the enemy had retreated. She found Commander Cordia, Commander Zada and General Nakesh grouped together. She went up to them.

"Commander Cordia and Commander Zada. Have your troops start collecting the wounded and getting them inside. General Nakesh, I want a report of casualties and set patrols around the shoreline."

"Of course Princess," all three said and bowed and went to do as commanded.
