After Dinner
Dinner had been a nice affair. The restaurant wasn't crowded so they could talk quietly and not have to shout over the background noise. The food was excellent and the conversation had been whatever popped into their minds. There was of course more blushing on both sides.
They returned to the YJLA headquarters and Maria thought about asking to return to Gotham, but another night here wouldn't kill her. There was definitely more eyecandy here.
There was one thing that needed to be taken care of and Maria knew exactly who to have help her with it.
"I need a favor from you before we call it a night and I get drugged up to sleep," she said to him as they walked back toward her room.
