The pain in her chest keeps her from focusing on the closeness too much. "You could close your eyes if it would help," she suggested. "Or think of as changing the clothes on one of your sister's Barbie dolls."
They got the tee shirt off and Maria kept her arms up as much as she could without too much pain.
