He's had a few moments to recover his wits, and figured she'd find some kind of flip comment. At least she hasn't removed any more clothes in the process of washing up.
Still, there's a bit of hesitation as she emerges again, and he tries, resolutely, to keep his eyes above shoulder height when talking to her.
"If I'm going to tie you down, we're going to need more bandages." he finally manages.
