Practice makes perfect
Her aim was instinctive and always perfect, but getting used to wrist mounted silencers was a different story. The roof top she practiced on was away from her usual haunts and mostly deserted. The guns were unload because she didn't want the attention. It was the cursing that was about to give her away.

It should've been easy but never having seen them used made it harder for her to make them do what she needed. Gritting her teeth, she tried again.

"!@#$%^&!"

Leave it to her to get a space guy to relax with an updated version of Asteroid. Eh, he was a nice guy and you could only shoot so many things before you had to take a break and reload.

"You can't have beer in there because of the kids, but this place is good for that."

That took some thought. She really didn't do anything to relax except target practice. She didn't date, didn't have any hobbies outside patrolling the Triangle, and the occasional play or movie with GK, mostly because he seemed to suggest things in a way that made it impossible for her to say no.

"Not a whole lot," she admitted. "There isn't a lot to do in the Triangle. I take online classes and help out at my mom's law office when she needs somebody to answer phones and file paper."

"I don't think I'd be any good at breaking up asteroids," she said, grinning back. It was hard not to.
