It was mid-night in El Paso. The witching hour as some thought of it. While others wouldn't dream of thinking it that way. What did matter was the fact a group of oily socially awkward teenagers thought they could get something.

Something to make things easier. They didn't know what price they would have to pay for this. They didn't care. They just wanted a way to keep away the people they thought would kill their chances at going a week without being treated like nothing more than geeks.

They didn't know they just got themselves over their heads. They called up demons, not helpful spirits.

They were in trouble. Help would be needed if they were to survive the night.

"Yes. They obviously summoned these creatures for some purpose. It should be simple enough to go disrupt the summoning to send them back."

His gaze focuses on one of the teenagers. "You will lead her in there. Then she will destroy your summoning circle. Just part of it needs to be canceled out. Just clear away the lines and tip the brazier they are using. I will hold the demons back here."

"Oh, I can definitely do that," Alina says, grinning wolfishly. She swoops down on the boy in question and tries to pick him up. The wrenching feeling in her arms reminds her that her flight spell currently only affects her. "Ow! Okay, Let's try this again: Featherweight!"

This time, she can pick him up. She'll have to undo the spell later, but that should be easy enough. She's more concerned with the fact that she hasn't noticed the effect yet, whatever it is.

"All right, guy, point me and be glad I'm not the woman I learned my magic from. She's got very little patience for this sort of thing."
