Reunion

Jacob had been standing, contemplating the builiding in front of him for a good few minutes. He took a few more deeps breaths.

"You can do this, Rothstein. Suck it up."

With those words he walked up to the door, checking the address for the upteenth time. trying not to stare at his shoes. "Here goes nothing."

He knocks on the door.

"Good for you. You and I were always the shy ones so maybe there's some hope for me finding someone special myself." He teased with a smile. His expression changed from happy to a little guilty. "Listen Wendi, I'm..I'm sorry for dissappearing like I did. I wasn't in a good place for a long time and I handled it badly. I don't know if your folks told you or if you saw it, that doesn't matter. I ran from you guys and.." He looks down, a somewhat odd sight for a guy standing at 6'6, suddenly shy and solemn. "I'm really sorry."
