Something strange seems to happen to the Matrix as Michael charges forward, using Jais hold and Trayas manipulations as a way to end this *thing* right here and right now, but Michael is also furious. He's fighting something that attacked him and Traya, has been all but infesting Jai, and took out his partner Ronnie. In those moments between the swing qand the impact, everything seems to feel a bit warmer inside the matrix, as if standing away from a bonfire...
