Jane almost shuts down completely. She could have dealt with the man behind her she though.
But seeing the poor thug get ripped open like a wet bag of trash nearly destroys her. She manages to get out of the way. Her mind isn't dealing well with the sudden gore. She forgets about how she didn't want to kill anyone and fires off a shot at Teufeltiger but misses because she still subconsciously doesn't want to cross that line.
