"I usually assume it's you or Mickey, because Nic doesn't talk about any other friends with me." Rex says.

In fact, Nic didn't talk about much of /anything/ with him, not anymore.

"And she left a couple of hours ago and she's not at /your/ place. Great." Rex says, going to get his coat.

"I'll have to talk to you later about business. I need to go find Feathers." Rex says.
