The disorientation Will felt just kept getting worse and worse as the hits came. Will was trying to fight back, but he was mad and confused and disoriented. So, for every punch Will managed to block with a clumsy shove away three made impact. And with every other hit the costume began to blur again, as if the beating was helping to push the Black Marvel lightning out.
