Corporate Haloween.
The Lexcorp Halloween Party was pleasant. Elegant. Festive but sedate. Classy. Val was glad it was all going well and tastefully done. He'd also made sure the hospital had fun stuff for the kids, and yes, he'd laundered money again to do it. If it made it easier to get the money to the people without crap from the interlopers, then that's what he'd do.

He smiled to Viv and brought her more of her favorite hors d'oerves and cider varieties. They'd coordinated outfits together: Artemis and Apollo. The twins, you know.

"That's conceivable, admittedly." Not that Val was really into conceiving it, but he wasn't stupid.

Val slipped his blackberry out from inside the folds of his tunic. "Managed to fold it just right for a pocket." He hands it to her.

She muttered a thank you as she quickly scanned over a few tickers to make sure everything had remained stable in the last 20 minutes.

"Are we expecting any problems tonight..? Like the ones we talked about?"
