Corporate Haloween.
The Lexcorp Halloween Party was pleasant. Elegant. Festive but sedate. Classy. Val was glad it was all going well and tastefully done. He'd also made sure the hospital had fun stuff for the kids, and yes, he'd laundered money again to do it. If it made it easier to get the money to the people without crap from the interlopers, then that's what he'd do.

He smiled to Viv and brought her more of her favorite hors d'oerves and cider varieties. They'd coordinated outfits together: Artemis and Apollo. The twins, you know.

Jo jumped like a good little civilian and made sure she didn't turn around too fast when Val Colby addressed her. She had hoped to go unnoticed for the whole night.

"Oh! Yes, everything's lovely. Thank you for asking."
