Re: The Guardians' Citadel
Jon fixes his gaze upon the female Guardian, then the one commenting on the threat.

"I've faced users of the red and the yellow... so please don't tell me I don't know the threat they present."

He pauses.

"However, I recently faced my undead father - and it ultimately took all of the spectrum in order to defeat that threat. What I need you to understand, all of you, is the threat presented if those lights, that power is not available when it is needed.

There is always danger. Always. But with sufficient will, it can be overcome. Not contained, not hidden away - overcome. I cannot promise that none of them will ever be a threat, or that there is no danger in this... but I have confidence that the correct approach is to give them a chance to do good, and the greatest opportunity will come from it. Because even if one or two did become a danger... there would still be five or six with the potential to become heroes, to help stop them. I feel that they should be given that chance.

And upon my life, if you free those you have had captured, should there be a danger, I swear on my life, and on my honor, I will do everything I can to help make sure it doesn't spread.

But trying to keep the lights contained invites another Blackest Night."
