Jon rushes ahead. On one hand, Henshaw has kept up with his father, and then some. Jon is nearly at his dad's power level, and growing... but has nowhere near the experience.
On the other hand, taking attention off him and getting him mad might still not be in Henshaw's best interests. Jon rushes forward, swinging rights and lefts, aiming for Henshaw's head, knowing he hit the neck joint before.
"We're putting a stop to this, now!"
