Winter Wonderland
Finally Chicago had enough snow to actually use for some fun. Deciding to have a bit of fun for once, Harry teleports up to the roof (more privacy from the general public) for a change of scenery. He's there for a bit, starting on a superhero snowman when he wonders if he should get some of the others to come join in, maybe for a good old fashioned snowball fight. He makes a snowball just to test out the snow and picks an easy target to lob it at, the door to the rooftop.

Unfortunately his snowball gets there just as the door opens.

	In turn, having someone to talk to and practice with besides Cindy is actually helping her acclimate a lot. So much of this place is still strange, with new experiences, like snow, on a daily basis. "You speak any languages not English?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She smiles. "French, Latin, Spanish... very similar. Learn one, others easier. Learned to read in Latin almost first... made French much easier. Others... complicated. Sometimes very similar, sometimes very different. Middle East... very long history. Amazons, also very complicated. Spoke tongues of all their goddesses, so had to learn to read all records of Bana." "Yeah Latin for science, but only for terms and stuff really. French sounds good, maybe I can learn a bit. If I'm going to be doing all sorts of new stuff, what's trying a new language?" He's clearly relieved he hasn't offended her. As far as he's concerned, this whole powers thing was new and weird enough that it forced him to expand and test his boundaries a little, even if he was still uncomfortable with it all. Of course, his version of it was just trying a new language, rather tame all things considered.
