Movie Interrupted!
"Okay!" Heather called into the rest of the complex. "DVD player's finally set up! We've got movie night!"

Things had been going rather well for her and her fellow Lights. The art show had made her more money than she'd ever had at one time in her life, her parents had somehow managed not to find out, she'd sold a piece to Ralph Dibny and his wife who'd happened to be in Chicago and had used to live in Opal, and had spent a portion of Valentine's Day faintly high off the love fumes.

Which really explained the charge she sometimes got around Cindy and Saishu or Harry and Jess.

Ganthet showed up on his own schedule, getting them to work with their powers or offering some kind of abstract philosophy.

And most of the time, she didn't feel like crying when she looked in the mirror. Pretty good.

	This is difficult for Andy to deal with. With the Fire there is lots of Fear. With the Fear there is Parallax. Even as Andy grabs those who Need Help, the pull is hard to fight. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	It took a moment for Heather to gather her wits enough to concentrate, but in a moment, she was spinning crystal from nothing, forming the braces Cindy needed. 	This close to the fire and smoke, Heather ought to be having a harder time. But it didn't bother her, other than to obscure her vision some. But she could feel the concentrations of love. "On it," Harry calls after Heather. In a flash he's right by the door, the aura that protected him on their stint in space shielding him from the heat.

He waits until Heather catches up before taking a deep breath and teleporting to the other side of the door. The smoke inside was so thick he couldn't see anything.

"Am I close?" He hopes the people can last just long enough so he can find them and flash them all out of there.

	"Very," Heather said. She quickly formed some crystal, several flat boards joined together at the center. They floated in the air, spinning rapidly, pushing smoke away. It cleared the air a little. They found the family huddled in the bedroom, trying to stay low. They started, panicked, when they saw Heather. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Andy would not be any better. The abilities of Parallax are based off of Fear, and the affect on Andys nanomachines is pretty quick. However, there is some control. Andy increases in size, trying to grab two of the larger humans. "Have these two! Grab other!" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"It's okay, we're here to get you out," he says, trying to soothe the family. Reaching out to be able to touch all three at once there's a brief flash of light as Harry teleports them out to where an ambulance is treating people, before he's back inside.

"Got it Andy!" He finds the other one Andy mentioned not long after and brings the woman to join the family by the ambulance.
