Shenanigans
There was a big difference between a job for work and a job for fun.

This was all about having fun. She had broken into a highly secured lab just because she could. Then broke into a secure vault with the kind of skill and ease that only a professional like her could have.

Then for extra fun she left a note pointing out their security flaws with a big silly smiley face at the end. She was feeling pretty playful after all.

Then she was out and racing across roof tops enjoying her little game. This was way too much fun.

He laughs a little at the wave. She'd found his favourite diving spot. At the top you could see the whole city and jumping off from it was as close to skydiving as you could get without a plane. Besides, you were literally jumping into the heart of Gotham off one of it's most secure buildings. Yes, he loved it up here.

Running after her, he doesn't even pause as he spreads his arms and swan dives right after her. His cape flapping behind him as he plunges into the Gotham night, Thomas can't keep the ridiculously large grin off his face.

Damn this was fun.

	This is so much fun. Only problem is how cold it gets doing this. She manages at the half way point to vector off into the dark. It was a good point to leave off at and she keeps running like a mad woman. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He's still grinning as he sees her disappear into the dark. Already knowing this route, instead of landing and running after her he goes from his controlled free fall into letting his cape go rigid and glide after her. It was faster this way anyway. Run Foxy run. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She doesn't have a fancy cape. She's just got her suit and tools. Which is why she is struggling to veer and twist in ways to throw him off. Sadly she's just getting tired out by this. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He tries not to laugh at her nose crashing into his chest once he lands and turns to face her. He really does. He'd even argue the slight twitch of his lips was just a twitch and not him silently laughing. "Looks like I caught the thief," he says while wrapping his arms around her in a hold. 	Checking to make sure it was indeed okay, his uniform did have light armour under it after all, he finally lets himself smile, very amused at her. "So, what'd you manage to get today Foxy?" 	Well it's his job and he's supposed to take theft seriously. More than he actually does at any rate. "I will need to search for it you know..." Although he suspects that's what she was aiming for. He does wonder what she's stolen though. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Well, can't blame me. I'm doing this by the book." Lies. To begin with, there was no book on vigilante crimefighting.

He gives her a conspiratory wink back before putting on his official-crimefighter face. "Sorry, can't make an exception of you. Last chance Fox. Hand over the loot or I'll need to search you for it."

He feels so silly saying it and wants to burst into laughter. Hey, if anyone ran into them he was actually following procedure. Albeit in a more...creative manner.

He finally lets a small smile slip out. "Well, I gave you fair warning Foxy."

Starting at her waist, he pats her down thoroughly, checking the spots he knows she likes to keep tools and the smaller loot. He also lets his hands trail down her curves once the first pat-down is done, he'd argue that he was just checking to be sure. And that wasn't necessarily false either.

But he finds nothing. Nothing stolen to be more accurate. Still, nothing. Where had she hidden it?

He frowns and ignores that pun. No way was she getting the better of him. He'd find that loot damnit.

He repeats the whole procedure again, checking even more thoroughly, in pockets and behind buckles. But nothing that was what he was looking for.

Eyeing her curiously, he debates what to do about this. He wasn't going to admit defeat but...the only thing she could have hidden had to be quite small. And usually any searches more...thorough than the usual pat-down they left to the police. But he wasn't going to be turning her over. What to do...

	And why would she have gone that far to hide something? She lets out a small laugh and reaches for a small note pad that had a few torn out pages and scribbled hard with her pencil of the page to darken it without a word and then held it up for him to see. 	To mess with him he assumes. He frowns as her note is revealed. It didn't tell him she didn't take anything. And he'd be damned if he'd let her win this. Giving her something between a huff and a pout, Thomas starts riffling through her pockets again. Nothing, nothing, nothing. If this was some elaborate way of see how far he'd go to search her...
