Awkward Bonding Time
Sure he may have been pretty much the only team member to not live at the HQ but it didn't mean that Harry didn't spend a lot of time there. There was never much to do at home and he rather liked his teammates. While he get along with everyone at work and school, he didn't really have many close friends. Which was understandable, Harry didn't really open up much.

But more than anything he wanted everyone on the team to get along at the very least. Ideal scenario would be that they were all good friends and Harry was trying very hard to make sure they hit the minimum 'getting along' level. Though he was having a tough time with Lenny. Although he understood why.

Still, he had to try. So Harry goes to find Lenny to see if the guy was free to do anything.

"Yeah...I guess. I don't like this newspaper stuff." It was actually the tabloids that bothered him more but both seemed to have the impression he was the quiet brooding bad boy of the group. Nothing could be further from the truth but with his goggles on the cameras could never see his shy or worried expression, which usually just came across as frowning without a view of his eyes.

"He was staring at my piece suspiciously," Harry smiles back.

"I'm really...not for the attention," he admits though that is obvious. "Wait...what? They thought you were making fun of...that's the stupidest thing." He looked appalled that they'd say such things. Had they not looked into his background? Oh dear, the newspapers were worse than he thought.

"Hey!" But he's smiling since things seem a bit less strained. "Mrs. Peacock is a murder suspect. I wouldn't get those people mad."

Truth be told, he admired that Lenny could deal with things and face them much better than he ever could. Not to mention that he could talk or argue his point, something that Harry would never dare do. He'd likely just cave.

Which is why he'd been worried that if earlier, Jess had figured out Lenny liked her too...well, the quiet guy who couldn't stop blushing or getting nervous long enough to make the first move certainly would have less of a chance. But he'd quietly been glad she hadn't noticed. And he'd always be ashamed for even having that thought for a moment. It was selfish. Selfishness had no place for him. It'd only make you lose things.

"Okay, accuse mine now," he smiled and showed Lenny the Candlestick card.

He takes a sip of his soda. "Turnabout and all that jazz," he replied by way of explanation. Huh, they were actually getting along. Maybe it was for the better Jess never knew, it would only complicate things for the team more. Besides, she seemed so happy. Then of course there was the growing attraction he was having for Heather, though he honestly didn't know if it was some warped kind of rebound thing.

It was nice to see her happy." Harry reaches over for a snack and seems a bit happier. Less awkwardness in the air for sure, and more than that he was happy Lenny had given him a chance. 	Harry shrugged. Truthfully it wasn't really the bad press...it was all the attention. He wasn't a spotlight guy, and he most certainly wasn't a superhero. No, he wasn't brave enough for that. "No, not really. It makes sense, you want to heal people not hurt them. I...I don't handle fighting well either. It's just...it doesn't help anything." He doesn't know why he said all that, maybe because it was safe to tell Lenny that. The others...well they weren't all violent but they certainly didn't hate conflict the way he did. But he thought Lenny would understand a little. Violence wasn't either of their things.

	Harry smiles at Lenny for that, but he hadn't meant the 'doesn't help' in that way. It was more that...he didn't quite see the point in fighting, it rarely got you anything in his experience. Harry doesn't like to argue, or even disagree too much with people, so the slight 'you can't be serious' look he gives his teammate is about as far as he'd go. But he refrained from pointing out that there was little logic in putting a nervous guy who hated conflict to the point where it was almost a phobia on a space-stuff powered superhero team. He had no illusions about himself. "That's...an interesting idea. Only one way to find out right?"
