Not you again!
So after the torture that was karaoke and then later having to deal with the...Pippi girl, well...Thomas needed to get out of the city for a short bit. And the arms dealing he'd been working on shutting down in Gotham had a trail that led back to Hub City. After the fiasco last time he'd tried to shut down the arms trade in Gotham (and had a buffoon crash it then think he was helping well...) he needed a big win here. That last encounter had ruined his plans and he'd needed to start from scratch.

No, this was not a happy Robin swinging towards the secret meeting place.

"Terrans are.... very widespread. You seek to fill up and exploit every last bit of arable, and unarable, land you can find, you squabble over rights to fuel and perceived historical significances. You have nearly two hundred defined countries and more than ten times that many languages. The majority of your species treats other lifeforms, however rare, as disposable. While almost archaic by some culture's standard, and not widespread, you've made more technological advances within the past century than some cultures do in a millenium. It's beautiful and terrifying all at once." Varon says, leaning back in his chair and gazing up at the stars as he eats.

"Your fashions are undecidedly backward though. They seem to have peaked about forty years ago, and then just went... askew." He shrugs. "But the food and the women are amazing."

While he does manage to hold back a shot about how everything must be perfect then in the Sombrero Galaxy, he has to raise an eyebrow at the fashion one. "...The 70s? Really?" Talk about backwards. "But I'll agree on the food and women. Though I suspect the latter must be hard for you with all the strange customs."

As he says that last bit, an idea forms in his head and a decidedly mischievous smirk starts. Oh he has the perfect revenge for a certain someone. "Actually...I know someone who might be right up your alley for that. Civilian I saved a while ago, complained about lack of dating life. Very nice, quiet girl, does charity work and all. I think the best way to describe her, in your terms, is...a paragon of virtue. Helping the innocent and impoverished, while never failing to maintain that impeccable reputation for respectability and decency in the face of society's injustices. I think you'd get along."

"Increasingly less strange, since a good friend of mine started my... *ahem* cultural acclimation process. My people had put certain things aside for the past centuries, but I'm beginning to learn about them... in-depth."

...

"I am intrigued."

"Well," he shrugged. "If you're interested I can find her number for you. Seems like she needs to get out more and you might be good for that." Torturous too but he's not going to exactly say that.

"I would be most honored, my friend." He grins broadly, raising his glass to Robin.
