Lame Villians: The Lameness Strikes Bad
Sam was headed to one of the local shopping centers in Star City to investigate some reports of strange goings on there. The reports sounded almost to strange for him to believe which was why he was going to check them out. Plus they sounded like they would be kind of funny to watch happen.

Stairs going wild and the like all seemed pretty entertaining to him.

	Thomas does the Robin thing to do in a situation like this. He says screw the stairs and hops onto the railing, balancing easily and starting to run up. All those casual acrobatics tended to pay off in times like these. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Elevator Man will be having none of that though. He'd anticipated some problems getting them on the stairs and in elevators, so he'd come prepared. The moment Robin hops onto the railing, Elevator Man takes a bucket of grease beside him and pours it down the railing. Some gets on the stairs too but he has a separate bucket for that. 	Sam was able to keep himself balanced for a while before slipping on some grease that had fallen on the steps. He fell down on the stairs swearing loudly. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The grease on the railing slipped Robin up and has him doing a flip midair to try and land on his feet on the steps. Unfortunately, the steps he lands on are also greased and he slips again. But unlike Sam he manages to grab a hold of the railing in time to prevent himself from falling down the stairs completely. There's some muttered swearing under his breath. While the grease runs down the railing and series of stairs, Elevator Man goes into the elevator with his equipment and goes to where the bottom of the steps were.

Once there, he drags the inflatable children's water slide, precovered in grease, and puts it at the bottom of the steps and adjusts it so any sliding heroes would slide down the steps, onto the slide, and into the elevator.

And at his mercy!

	Sam slide down the stairs swearing worse than a sailor. He was not happy and worse when he hit the slip and slide. Under normal circumstances it might have been fun but not right now. The open elevator was not making him any happier as he slide into it. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Robin grumbled and kept a hold of the railing as the stairs moved up and down. It was actually easier to do so and not get tripped up by moving stairs since it was greased.

He looks back to see Sam slide into the elevator swearing. Damn, he just had to let Sam deal with the elevator while he fought this stairs person until he could come help.

"So what're you trying to do here? Clean up with some early Christmas shopping?" He calls out to whoever's on the top of the stairs doing this, hoping talk might distract them a little as he works on using the railing and trying to run up, a few steps at a time, without slipping.

Elevator Man grinned in his best evil-mastermind manner and gave Robin a cheerful 'just got your teammate' way.

The moment Sam slides into the elevator, Otis yanks the slip and slide out of the way, throws in a really cheap wireless speaker, and jumps to push the elevator up button as fast as possible to close the doors.

"I have you now," he grins and talks into a receiver so Sam can hear via the speaker that had been slid into the elevator after him. "Do you know how long it too my nose to set after what you did? This is revenge arrow boy, and now you're at my mercy."

The elevator rushes up now.

Female voice. And...that line better not have been suggestive. It kinda sounded like something Ivy would say before greening you. "And what exactly would that be?" Oh great, grease and now add marbles. Trying to run up greased stairs while dancing around to avoid the marbles? Slow and it looked like you were doing the sand-is-too-hot dance at the beach.

How dignified.

"Medical isn't cheap I'll have you know," Elevator Man tells Sam through the speakers. "They really cut into evil enterprise profits. And henchmen want benefits nowadays so I can't afford to...why the hell am I telling you this again? Gah! Back on topic: Mwuahahahaha! I have you now arrow boy. Prepare to be shaken, not stirred."

And the elevator begins to violently shake.

For a guy who leaps around a city without a safety net and has been trained by a circus acrobat since he could walk, this is probably the least graceful moment of crimefighting you could get out of him. Trying to move up constantly moving stairs was annoying, not hard, but add in grease and marbles and greased railings and...well he was stumbling everywhere and falling, not to mention the only flipping done here was only to land on his feet once they flew out from under him.

Getting really frustrated, Robin growls and pulls his grappling gun out to shoot the line up the stairs. He was aiming for the woman at the top, planning on bringing her down if he could.

"I'm not the one who's gonna need insurance after this, you are! Besides, you have no creativity. All these years being looked down upon people just like you! Elevators are lame they said, nothing you can do with such a lame power. I'll show them, I'll show them all what I can do with elevators. You'll all see and never laugh again!"

Elevator Man may have gotten a bit into his mini-monologue because while the elevator continue shaking and going up and down, the elevator doors open and close a bit unintentionally too. Hey, he'd just learned the closing elevator doors bit, so what if he needed practice?

	Thomas was pissed. He was bruised, dirty, covered in grease and, most of all, annoyed he'd been made to look so stupid. So now that she was down he takes his chance and makes a last ditch angry sprint up the stairs after Stairmaster. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The elevator had left Shane on the second floor, nearby where Stairmaster had fallen and Robin was sprinting up to.
