Ty helps with the searching through the rubble, first seeking out his Christmas present to Cait. The dolphin of ice, frozen in time is broken, but a little bit of work fixes the damage readily enough. Then its on to saving as many books as possible.
As far as himself, he really doesn't have much of anything, so he moves to Cait's side to help her efforts.
