When he reaches the top first, he's a little tempted to drop another of his explosives down at her, or attack her mid-climb. She ruined an opportunity to take the whole ring down, hard.
Wouldn't be sporting though. He's there, watching her, just long enough to make it clear he could make the climb a lot more difficult, then just shakes his head and takes off for the next rooftop, leaping across the gap.
