Varon reaches out for his book. "No, no. It's quite all right. My fault. I was just--" His hand settles over hers.
"Oh. Please excuse me." He withdraws his hand, getting to his feet and then... well, pretty much offering her his hand again. "Are you unharmed, miss?"
