Dad had taken Jerry to this comic book store a few times it was one of the places that he got his shirts from. Plus there was a good spot that he could teleport to just behind the shop that no one would see him teleport into Gotham.
Jerry walked into the shop to check if they had gotten anything new for shirts since he had last been there.
