A certain gold-clad figure is tapping at Dinah Kord's bedroom window. As soon as he got his Dad's gear done field-testing, and Mom had laid down the ground rules, he had only one place he wanted to be.

And here he was.

Trying to decipher the cryptic text of 'Frankie say: Relax' on his borrowed sweatshirt did not deter Riley from enjoying his waffle cone packed full with mint cookie crumble ice cream.

"Apology accepted." He sits down next to her. "Heroes have to be able to take criticism."

He's puzzling over something in his mind, it having kicked up in his brain in the time it took them to get to the ice cream parlor.

	After a false start, Riley sits back down, watching her. Dinah had a tendency to strike once your guard was down. He noticed they were both through their first scoop of their respective cones. He held up his, offering their traditional halfway-through-swap. Even back when they'd both believed in 'cooties', ice cream had always been immune to such quarantines. 	Dinah had gone through a bit of a boys are icky phase, progressed just to cooties, and then quickly got over it when she'd realized for some reason that Riley would do just about anything she told him to do. 	"Yeah, Mister Gardner's taken the whole thing international. The NYC place is a bar and restaurant now. Haven't met up with her, but she e-mailed me to say she's joining the League." 	Riley turns his chin up, but brings it down so he can keep eating ice cream. "I am totally secure in my sense of bravery and masculinity, so not only will I say I'm not chicken, but I'll also tell you that's not going to work." Hopefully she won't remember what will work.
