She's Like The Wind
Jai West is four minutes early, but doesn't know if Traya will consider that late. He's inherited his father's and great uncle's ability to be late, even though he's The Fastest Boy Alive.

His face is healed from the attack he suffered from an alien gorilla earlier this week. The rest of the team is okay, although it was strange to be kidnapped as part of a plot to bring Henry and Katima together (don't even get him started on that). He hopes that Henry and Katima have something real, but he's sure that's not going to tie itself up nice and pretty for everyone involved.

He's wearing some of the new clothes that Iris helped him pick out: black shirt, blue jeans and black boots as he waits for her to arrive at the mall. Jai's even decided to come to Traya's town to keep nosy little sisters (re: Iris) from tagging along for updates.

He takes a deep breath and resists the urge to run home and change for the third time.

	"Meterology? That is awesome. Maybe next time someone asks you to move the clouds, there actually be a reason for it." he smiles. "If you've got time next week, I can stop by and we can work on some stuff." he says. The waitress comes back with their drinks, and he orders egg rolls, fried rice and orange chicken. "No way. That's awesome! My mom loves the movie, but she says my Dad always falls asleep on it. Maybe our parents aren't really spying on us; they're just using it as an excuse to see the updated version." Jai jokes.

He makes a face after takes a bit of the chicken.

"Oh, look. You kind of got something on your lip. Right there." he says, a slight gesture at her lower lip.

	Now or never, West. "Wait, you got--oh no. You missed a spot. Let me." he says, leaning in. Jai kisses Traya gently on the lips, smiling for a moment. Then he sits back down, and quickly snatches up a piece of teriyaki chicken with his chopsticks. "My plan worked." he grins, popping the chicken in his mouth. "The teriyaki chicken is mine." "Well, part of science is running lots of tests, so feel free to check your ideas as many times as you want. It'll be good practice for meteorology." he says, finishing his eggrolls.

He takes a sip of his drink and smiles. They could really miss the movie for all he cared. He was enjoying just talking with her. But, this was a date, and he planned to show her a good time.

Jai was all smiles as Traya leaned forward, and the small breeze that pushed their lips together would have made the grin bigger, had his lips not been otherwise occupied.

Such as they were, Jai West is a very happy young man right now. This time, he lets Traya decide when to break the kiss.

He does, however, file all of this data away for his own further experiments.
