Tom Curry's lighthouse cottage on Amnesty Bay offered peace, quiet and tranquility and it was the perfect place for Cait and Ty to retreat to after the events with Hammond. The Maine summer was mild and the small town a mile or two away didn't attract tourists. Cait had always found comfort in this place and she hoped Ty did as well. He needed the peace and quiet to recuperate from the trauma of what had happened.

Cait gave Ty space. She had even severed the link they shared since they were physically near each other. She was hesitant to reestablish it. Hammond had used it to take over Ty and she didn't want to be the cause of that happening again.

Cait spent her days down at the beach and had spent most of her nights down there as well. She surfed, swam and soaked up the sun on the warm sand. Mostly she just waited for Ty to want to talk about what happened.
