Carolyn didn't like it one bit. Tomas was letting himself get distracted and distractions could lead to death. It was time to do something about it.

	Carolyn backed up as he came at her. Her hands came up to block his attacks, but she was a half a second slow on the uppercut. It connected with her jaw and she staggered back a few steps. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He's in about the same shape. She's gotten her share of hits in as well, and her style is more lethal than his. Even just sparring, the effects show in hints of fatigue from trying to keep up with her. He lets her advance, settling in and catching his breath. "You've been learning some new tricks." He knows what she's going for. She's toof ast for him to avoid it entirely, but he shifts enough to take the punch to the ribs instead of her target zone. It still hurts, but he's not paralyzed.

Yes, he has been learning some new tricks. Time to try one of them. He drops low, going for the sweep kick while she's in close, trying to take her feet out before putting an elbow to her thigh.

Its a fairly typical Bat-trick, trying to lower opponent mobility in a non-lethal fashion. Not part of his typical repertoire, but effective in its own way. He's not sure she'll be expecting him to try the sort of thing he's picked up by watching Maria and her crew.

	Carolyn wasn't expecting it. She started to move to avoid the leg sweep and the elbow caught her in the thigh. The leg buckled and her balance was gone. She was totally open for a take down move. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
