Riley checked his watch. This was the rooftop Dinah had asked him to meet her on, but she hadn't said why. In fact, she'd refused to say why. He scratched the back of his head in confusion. He'd wait for a while longer yet, but he just wish he knew a bit more why there was such a hold up.

	There was a man. Possibly a man. Made of bees. In a purple cloak and gloves. Numerous Central Park patrons had been restrained by bonds made out of bees. If he noticed Riley, he did not show it. 	Stinging Legion simply moved his bees out of the way of the laser beams, creating holes in his body that they passed through. "Foolish hero! You cannot defeat me! Mine is the supreme perfection of the bees!" He raised his hand and fired a stream of bees at Riley. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Something to understand, having a force-field that keeps you safe from them, does not mentally proof someone against the sheer invertebrate-fueled horror that is having it appear as if you've got bees crawling all over your face and body.

"OH MY GOD I'M COVERED IN BEES! AAAAAHHH!!!"

Riley dives through a bunch of trees, trying to brush off most of the bees before he focuses on backing up Dinah.

	Dinah's eyes bulged behind her goggles as she was certain she was about to be stung. A lot. And then Riley rescued her! Dang it, this was not going nearly as well as it should be. "Goldstar!" she shouted. "Plan B!" It was something they'd worked out when they were kids, playing at being heroes. It meant 'distract the bad guy while I free the hostages!' 	Stinging Legion let out a cry of buzzing frustration as his bees splashed off Goldstar's force-field. "I vould haff challenged the links of Superman! Instead, I am beink forced to content viff the likes of you! The indignity!" They might not be able to pierce his force field, but more and more are now buzzing around him, trying to block his sight. 	Riley would find himself going straight through the bee-Nazi, as the bees gave way. He was suddenly racing him without turning, the bees simply reorienting so he was facing the other way. "Fool! I am der Stingink Legion! Mine is the power of pure, Aryan bees!" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Riley could keep the Bee-Nazi scattered, and he recalled all his bees from the super-suited hero back into his body. "Perhaps you are not beink such a schmarty-pants vhen I haff your little girlfriend, ja?" He gestured and a ribbon of bees, carrying a now-entrapped Dinah, floated into view. 	Riley couldn't even hear her that well over the din of the bees. "No time for that now, Beetle! I've got a PLAN!" He aims his laser at the hydrant, cracking it open like a walnut. 	"Vhat? Vhat are you doink?!" The Stinging Legion roared, the water slammed into him, soaking his bees. "Mine bees! Mine beautiful, perfect bees!" he howled. In less than a minute, under the high pressure spray, all that was left was a pile of soaked bees and the cape and hood. What bees were not joined to his body scattered like the animals they were.
