Dinadan adjusts his grip on his messenger bag, which holds the twins' birthday gifts along with his usual collection of emergency odds and ends. He'd had to take a couple things out, but he's pretty sure that the West household has its own well-stocked first aid kit; and while six feet of rope is useful in a surprising number of situations, he probably won't need that at the party either.
He waits patiently at the door, whistling tunelessly to himself.
