Marissa did start to protest about the beach (not about the car; the car was automotive sex as far as she was concerned and if Keith wasn't careful she'd filch the keys before the day was over.) A lack of appropriate swimwear was an issue but as Keith rapidly made it clear that it was an issue quickly resolved. After a slightly skimpy bikini was acquired (Bruce would have a coronary over just how skimpy), she was quite happy to do pretty much anything.
"I didn't realize sunlight was such a pervasive thing," she commented. Gotham wasn't shrouded in eternal darkness but it certainly had no beach. She grinned and took his hand. "So far, you're earning major points."
