Max was in Gotham visiting his uncle Sal who was probably the only atheist priest in Gotham. Walking back from the church to his hotel Max noticed the lack of security guards. There should have been a guard seated at the desk at the main entrance, while he wasn’t sure what was going on there he could just feel that someone was very wrong.
After quickly changing into his costume Max made his way back to the building and fired his Maghook up to scale the building for an open window he had seen. Once inside the building he made his way to the center of the building were the elevators and main stair well was. Max drew his crossbow when he saw the first body. He closed the guard’s eyes and said a quick prayer before continuing on and up the stairs.
