THE COMING OF THE HYPER-TEEN!
Anyone who kept a close watch on anything closer to the Earth than the moon probably took notice as two space-ships suddenly arrived in orbit, one towing the other.

Both were head-shaped.

Onboard the connecting tunnel between the two ships, the younger of two men surveys the Earth with awe.

"So.... great father, this is the planet where you wish Varon to make his mark upon the universe?"

Varon embraces his father tightly, sheltering his head against his shoulder. "I will miss you, father. As I will miss all the citizens of Tynol, but I will do our culture proud as I bring added protection to Earth."

He pulls a note from his vest pocket. "In case of emergencies, I am to contact Kara Zor-L, yes?"

Vartox returned the embrace. He was proud of his son and was certain he would only do well on the planet called Earth. "Tynol shall miss you, my son, but the time has come for you to explore the wider galaxy and sow your most wild oats."

"Yes," he agreed. "If you ever find yourself in trouble, merely seek her out and she will aid you."

He turned his head, wiping at his eyes. "Forgive me, my son. I did not wish for you to see the Manly Tears of Vartox..."

"Hyper-tears shed for one's family are never to be ashamed of, father!" Varon protests reassuringly, moving away towards his own headship.

"I will use the Messagius Drive if I need to reach you for any reason!" He turns, for despite his words, it would not do well for any to see the Hyper Teen weep.

Many were the Manly Hyper-Tears of Vartox shed when he was certain his son could no longer see him. His heart did wish to burst with Hyper-Pride!

And soon, the whole of the planet Earth would come to know his son, come to know Varon...the Hyper-Teen!
