"I can do that." he responds, reaching out with his mind to sweep ahead of him for minds until he finds what he's looking for. A long stretch of inaccessible beach with not a single human being for miles around.
Once he's found it, the trip takes only a few compressed seconds before he releases the bubble, leaving them floating underwater not far from the shore.
