From the Depths of Hades
There was a low rumbling deep within the Earth near Taenarum, Greece. The rumbling grew louder and louder until it seemed like there was an earthquake. Local residents ran for doorframes. The Earth erupted and dirt, rocks and plants were sprayed into the air. A gaping maw formed in the Earth and the pit seemed bottomless.

The pit was not empty.

Beings and creatures that had not seen the light of day in over two thousands years climbed from the pit and stepped out onto the Earth.

	Normally Cerberus would not have paid any mind to Mike's approach, but demons were things that Cerberus was fully capable of sensing (even if they were only half-demon). All three heads zero'd in on Mike, and the middle one snapped right at him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	This was definitely an ‘oh shit’ moment if he ever had one. He quickly concentrated changing his feet to a demonic red form so that he could jump out of the way of the snapping jaws. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Demonic agility really wasn’t helping right now and he then focused and his feet became normal again though his shoes were ruined and started breathing fire at the head trying to eat him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Demonic, three-headed dogs? No, she wasn't having with that sort of thing at all. Not to mention it looked as though the one fighting it--who positively screamed magic--was in over his head. 	Cerberus took a few steps back from the mystical blasts and some attention to the newcomer. It readied itself and then leaped over Mike. It intended to land on Victoria and squash her like a bug. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

For some reason, Cerberus stopped right in front of Victoria and just looked at her. It's large rear end began to go down over Mike, until the fire burned a /very/ sensitive area. Cerberus yelped with all three heads and snapped viciously at Mike, fully intent on ripping him apart.

	Mike quickly concentrated to give himself super strength. Swapping between abilities like this was starting to tire him out. It wasn’t much of a plan but maybe punching one of the head as hard as he could in the nose might stop the head from ripping him apart. 	Hitting one head made one head read back. Mystical blasts of energy force Cerberus to the side as a whole. The collective of attacks was really getting at the beast, but still two heads snapped at Mike. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Victoria focused, gathering her energies for this. Banishment was always tricky, but she could pull it off if she had too. "Go back," she commanded, "from whence you came!" She unleashed bolts of energy to add to this. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Between the combined attacks, and the damage that had already been done, Cerberus was no longer in the streets of Gotham. With the combination of Victoria's magical blasts and Mike's strength, the beast seemingly shattered into black shards of glass that fell into dust and were swept away by the wind.

Cerberus was returned to whence he came.
